Hamilton Homes Are In Demand

Redrow is celebrating success in Leicester having achieved a consistent sales rate of more than one home a week over the last three years.

Launched in January 2014, Hamilton Park and neighbouring Hamilton Gardens, in the popular Hamilton suburb, have fast become somewhere people really want to live
Across the two developments a total of 165 homes have now been sold, with around 135 of the properties already occupied.
Redrow has also achieved sell-out success at Nightingale Gardens, on part of the former Towers Hospital site, where the last of 102 private sale homes at Nightingale Gardens was recently snapped up.
Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), said: “Demand for new homes in this part of Leicester remains as strong now as it did when we launched Hamilton Park and Hamilton Gardens in early 2014. Almost three years on and there’s no sign of things slowing down – we’ll soon be welcoming the 100th homeowner to Hamilton Gardens. Recommendations play a key role as in many cases people have been encouraged to buy after viewing properties purchased by their friends and family.”
Across the two Hamilton developments there’s a good choice of three, four and five-bedroom designs available from Redrow’s Arts & Crafts inspired Heritage Collection.
Combining the best of old and new, they offer the charm and character of ‘period’ properties, but with interiors designed to meet the demands of modern living.
“People love that our homes look very traditional from the outside, but are easier to maintain and more efficient to run than their older counterparts,” Pauline added.
“Another big plus is the location. Hamilton is a popular area, where people really want to live. The properties we’re building are ideally placed to enjoy easy access to both the countryside and the amenities of Leicester city centre, which is just a few miles away.”
Current prices start from £195,950 for a three-bedroom Evesham at Hamilton Gardens and it’s a property that’s almost ready to move into.
The Evesham features a kitchen to the front of the property, with combined lounge and dining room opening out on to the rear garden through patio doors. A cloakroom completes the ground floor, while upstairs the master bedroom boasts an en-suite, leaving the family bathroom to serve the remaining two bedrooms.
Help to Buy equity loans are available to make homeownership easier to afford. Using the Government-backed scheme, the initial outlay for a three-bedroom Evesham reduces to £156,760. The lower price includes a deposit of £9,797 (5%) and mortgage of £146,963 (75%). The remaining £39,130 (20%) is covered by the equity loan, which is interest free for five years.
