8 (Alcoholic) Christmas Milkshakes

Thank heavens the maids have been milking so we can make these tasty treats!

Well thanks to the maids that are milking, we have been able to enjoy milk based cocktails over the festive period!

These alcoholic milky treats are an indulgent option for over the festive period.

Try serving one of these with a mince pie and carrot on Christmas Eve! 
 

Eggnog


Nothing says Christmas like Eggnog. Cognac, milk, egg, cream and nutmeg make this festive classic. You will need a shaker for this one and ice and recommend you serve this in a tall glass. Click here for the recipe.

White Russian


Whip up this classic cocktail with just three ingredients. You will need just Vodka, Kahlua and cream (or milk if you are wanting a lighter version!). Take a rocks glass and fill with ice. Pour over add two parts vodka to one part Kahlua. Using the back of a spoon, pour on the cream and voila!

Espresso Martini 


This one will certainly get Santa through his Christmas Eve rounds! Espresso Martinis are a great choice for getting through long Christmas parties. Add one part Kahlua to two parts vodka and add a cooled espresso. Shake it up in a shaker and pour into a martini glass using a strainer as this is what creates the frothy top!

A West Indies Special is a great option for chocoholics and is great choice for serving at the end of Christmas dinner parties. Created using Light Rum, Kahlua, Chocolate Sauce and Milk this cocktail is more of a dessert than drink! Serve with a cherry.

Blend Vanilla Ice-Cream with Amaretto, Pina Colada Mix and a fresh banana. If you are looking for a little indulgence then top with whipped cream and a banana slice!
