9 Ladies Dressing Rooms Perfect for Dancing Dresses and Party Frocks

We think one of the best uses you can put that spare bedroom to, is a purpose built dressing room!

It’s that time of year again. Christmas is coming and it is time to dust of your dancing shoes, dig out your party dresses and get your glad rags on. As well as Christmas day itself, there’s also the office Christmas party, Boxing Day with the in laws and of course New Year’s Eve to get dressed up for.

Who knows, you might even have a birthday party or two to attend as well, all in the space of two weeks at the end of December.

That’s at least 3 new outfits you need to either buy or mix and match from your already probably too full wardrobe…

For this reason alone, we think one of the best uses you can put that spare bedroom to, is a purpose built dressing room!

Seriously though, if you’ve just moved into a new build home with the plan of living there for years to come, you often find you have at least one spare bedroom available before the years come when you’ve had children and given over all that space to their rooms.

Creating a walk in wardrobe or dressing room is a perfect way to maximise that spare room in the meantime. It can be surprisingly inexpensive to do as well. Basic Ikea bookcases work perfectly for shoes and standard wardrobe rails can span the room, hooks can be used for hanging handbags and coats up…it’s a no brainer.

If you’re still not convinced though, then take a look at these 9 beautiful ladies dressing rooms…

We love the idea of having a bath in your dressing room. This way you can shut yourself away from all the stress of your partner getting ready as well, and simply soak in some bubbles whilst looking at a rail of possible outfit options.

The use of the ladder in these dressing room just goes to show that you don't need oodles of floor space to have oodles of storage. This is a great idea if you're looking for a way to get the most out of your smallest spare room.

Even smaller still, this dressing room makes clever use of built in wardrobes to create a sense of added space and luxury living. Making use of the doors as extra places to hang clothes is a great idea as well.

The beauty of this wardrobe is not only the thousands of shoes it seems able to accommodate, but the sheer level of organisation. With a walk in warobe like this you can see everything you own making choosing an outfit a walk in the park. (As long as your disciplined enough to keep it this tidy of course!)

In this dressing room the emphasis is on the style of the room rather than the style of the clothes. It also goes to show that there are far better uses for the attic than to hide unwanted gifts and storing the Christmas decorations...

Here we have a dressing room we think even the men of the house can appreciate. It's sleek, chic and super organised.

This boutique style dressing room is a perfect place to get the girls over, open a bottle of bubbly and get your glad rags on for a night out. The soft pink and green colour scheme gives it a feminine but fun feel. A tricky colour scheme to pull off but here we think it really works.

Another attic renovation for you here. What's clever about this dressing room is the use of mirrored wallpaper on the ceilings to create a greater sense of space, light and luxury.

Last, but by no means least, we have an extremely minimal dressing room design. The simple lines and white colour scheme creates a calming, zen like space where you can take your time over choosing what you want to wear.
