English Housing Survey Reflects Inadequate System

Left Foot Forward.org reports on the state of England's property market. The latest survey from English Housing reveals a housing system that is continuing to move towards private renting rather that home ownership.

With home ownership remaining firmly at 64% of all households in England, the survey reveals the lack of impact subsidies and schemes like Help-to-Buy and Right-to-Buy are actually having on the property market as a whole.

This appears to reinforce the government's current solution to the housing crisis: build more homes at an affordable price. For more on this story visit leftfootforward.org.
