UK Gov Announces Red Tape Cuts To Help Home Builders

Property Wire reports on the UK Government's decision to host the Cutting Red Tape review. The review is aimed at uncovering the issues that have the biggest effect on home builders.

It will address changes to red tape across the planning system as well as other stages during the home building process. 


Both big and smaller home builders are to be included in the discussions, identifying the unique issues each face, to ensure they all have a voice on red tape in the industry and how ineffective many of the rules are.

This is undoubtedly going to be a help to home builders if many if the issues they currently face can be resolved by the Cutting Red Tape review, ultimately helping them achieve the government's plans to build 400,000 affordable new homes.
