We’ve been building quality new build homes since 1958, and are now recognised as the highest quality national house builder.

We established the first Barratt property development company in Newcastle upon Tyne and grew the business steadily, laying the foundation for the growth that followed. We were listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1968.

The local town of Pinhoe has a convenience store and a butchers for your everyday shopping, but for some serious shopping, Exeter is just a short drive or bus journey away. Princesshay has a range of high street brands including John Lewis and Topshop and the little cobbled streets around Gandy Street have some wonderful independent boutique stores.
Exeter has a variety of gyms, swimming pools and health clubs to keep you fit and healthy. If you prefer getting your hiking boots on and getting out in the country air, the red cliffs at Exmouth beach or a coastal walk from Exeter Quay to Dawlish Warren are close by.
