Developer Information

We’ve been building quality new build homes since 1958, and are now recognised as the highest quality national house builder.

We established the first Barratt property development company in Newcastle upon Tyne and grew the business steadily, laying the foundation for the growth that followed. We were listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1968.

In 1972, a programme of rapid expansion followed, seeing a series of acquisitions and the creation of new companies.

Take J9 off the M6 onto the A461 exit. Follow the A461 and continue until roundabout and then take the second exit onto A462 and the development will be on your left.
You will find the Gallagher Shopping Park less than 2 miles away, near junction 9 of the M6. Some of the retailers include IKEA, Outfit, TK Maxx, B & Q, Next, Harveys Furniture and more. A carvery pub called the Chestnut Tree has recently opened, which is worth a visit. There are plans to expand the park adding more shops and restaurants.
Victoria Park is within walking distance, although its worth taking the short 15 minute drive to Walsall Arboretum. This Victorian park has a play area with lido during the summer, an outdoor fitness trail and garden so there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy.
