Developer Information

We established the first Barratt property development company in Newcastle upon Tyne and grew the business steadily, laying the foundation for the growth that followed. We were listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1968.

Aylsham is a major market town with many long-standing, independently run shops and an array of outlets and amenities on the historic market square. A twice-weekly market and a monthly farmers' market are held in the town. Further afield you will find a Tesco supermarket in Norwich.
Aylsham is spoilt for choice with the countryside right on your doorstep, many areas of natural beauty are all within as easy drive. The Broads and the North Norfolk Heritage Coast are just under 10 miles away offering Seaside resorts and harbour towns. The Aylsham Country Show is held every year and the Aylesham Festival link the arts and science.
