Developer Information

We established the first Barratt property development company in Newcastle upon Tyne and grew the business steadily, laying the foundation for the growth that followed. We were listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1968.

In 1972, a programme of rapid expansion followed, seeing a series of acquisitions and the creation of new companies.

Local Area

Heritage Quarter Sales office is off of Louisburg Avenue. From the new roundabout on the A325 turn into the New Heritage development, proceed straight over at the next new roundabout, past Barratt New Quarter, and at the third new roundabout we can be found on the left hand side. Lousiburg Avenue is not yet recognised by Sat Navs or Google Maps. Please follow the yellow AA boards to find our sales office.
Close to Petersfield with its weekly markets and ecclectic mix of independent shops. Farnham is just 20 minutes away by car, with it's beautiful, all-season Castle street market and high street shops. The local shop is within walking distance and the town centre has 2 supermarkets.
