Developer Information

We established the first Barratt property development company in Newcastle upon Tyne and grew the business steadily, laying the foundation for the growth that followed. We were listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1968.

Local Area

Exit M6 at Junction 19, following signs for Northwich/A556. Proceed straight ahead through two sets of traffic lights, then at the 3rd set follow signs for Lostock Gralam/(A559) Manchester Road. Continue on this road for approximately two miles and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Chester Way. At the mini roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Winnington Street. Continue straight ahead. At Weaver Vale Garden Centre, turn left onto Winnington Avenue.
Within walking distance of Winnington Village is host of local shops catering for all your daily needs, including; Northwich Superstore, Morrison's, Sainsbury's, The Co-Operative and many more. A great choice of restaurants and pubs for dining out, including traditional home cooked food.
There is also a fantastic range of fitness centre's and gym facilities for all to enjoy, from Judo, Boxing, Marine Fit classes and Zumba, there's something for everyone.
There is a number of primary and secondary schools as well as colleges to choose from, all within a close walking/driving distance of the development.
From Winnington Village, Northwich it's easy and enjoyable to get around. Residents can enjoy easy access to the M6 and surrounding motorways. Manchester Airport is approximately 16.4 miles from the development, as well as well servicing those closer to home.
