Living In Inverness

If you’re looking for a new build home in Inverness, then you’re in the right place.

Referred to as the ‘cultural capital’, Inverness is the largest city of the Scottish Highlands, usually scoring highly in quality of life surveys and often voted as the happiest place to live in Scotland, whilst also featuring highly on the very same list but for the whole of the UK. Not bad, eh? With an airport that can be reached by travelling along the A69, flights from Inverness are available to the likes of Manchester, Gatwick, Birmingham, Southampton and Edinburgh to list but a few. You’ll also be able to find yourself on a direct train running to other Scottish cities such as Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen. The city centre is also well connected, with access provided by the main A9.
New build homes in Inverness are never far away from scenes of natural beauty, with magnificent landscapes such as the highlands themselves and the Cairngorms nearby. There’s also the likes of Plodda falls, arguably one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Scotland, whilst a number of walks such as the Ness Island Walk or the Great Glen Way are available to guide you through some of the scenery. Most famously of course on the list of things to see and do is paying a visit to Loch Ness, home to the ever elusive Loch Ness Monster, who is more commonly and affectionately known as Nessie.
There are not just outdoor pursuits however, Inverness is home to a number of castles which are open to the public for visits. There is also the Eastgate shopping centre, home to a number of high street stores, whilst independent shops, boutiques and bookshops can be found in Old Town Inverness providing new home buyers in the area, everything they need for a happy, healthy and modern lifestyle. For anybody feeling like they might want to catch a couple of shows a year, Eden Court located on the banks of the River Ness is on hand offering a varied programme of musicals, opera, dance and shows.
Last but not least, you can head down on boat to look at the dolphins in the Moray Firth - great stuff.
