Boost For Buyers At Horsforth Vale

More people in Yorkshire were hunting for a new home between Christmas and New year, according to homebuilder Redrow

The award-winning company said up to 1,500 people were clicking on to the Yorkshire development pages of its website every day during the holiday period – almost four times the usual number.

And at The Green, in Horsforth, Leeds, it has decided to reward those who now take the plunge to purchase the perfect new home with a special bonus. Anyone who reserves a home here before February 12, 2017 will receive £5,000 towards legal fees and moving costs.

New Redrow homes at Horsforth Vale

“We were delighted by the interest so many people were showing in our homes between Christmas and New Year,” said Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire). “We normally have around 400 people looking at our properties online on a daily basis but over the recent holiday times there was an average of between 1,300 and 1,500, which is incredible, and extremely pleasing.

“Many of the people looking were interested in homes at The Green and we’ve decided to offer them an extra incentive to take that next step and buy.

“Moving house can be very expensive and it can be the extra costs which make it more difficult for some people. So we decided to help them out with a £5,000 contribution – call it a belated Christmas gift from Redrow!”

The incentive is being offered on all house styles currently available at The Green, on Calverley Lane, and there’s a good selection of three and four-bedroom semis and four-bedroom detached homes to choose from, with prices from £299,950 to £474,950.

The entry point is the three-bed semi-detached Ludlow, with simple lines which make the most of every inch of space and allow light to flow through. A laundry area and downstairs cloakroom help to streamline family life, while an en-suite to the master bedroom offers a little luxury.

Four-bedroom detached styles rise to The Welwyn, at £474,950, which is a house designed to impress. The generous family, dining and kitchen space is guaranteed to bring everyone together, while the separatelounge provides a haven for more peaceful times. An en-suite to the master bedroom and an integral garage are among the many very practical features and combine to make this a truly desirable home.

The development is set in semi-rural surroundings on the edge of Horsforth, hailed as one of the most popular places to live in the Sunday Times’ Best Places to Live List. It has excellent transport links, including a new bus service to Horsforth station, where four trains an hour serve the city centre at peak times.

Horsforth itself has some great pubs and live music venues, friendly cafes and restaurants, plus excellent schools; all adding to the many reasons why people want to live in this pretty location, just a few miles north west of Leeds city centre.
