Launch Show For First Time Buyers In North West

September 17th in Manchester

First time buyers in Manchester and the North West will soon be able to find out all they need to know about getting onto the property ladder, thanks to a one-off property event designed to explain homeownership. Following the success of its Southern shows,

The First Time Buyer Home Show will be holding its first event in Manchester on Saturday September 17th with a view to helping thousands more inexperienced homebuyers in the North-West onto the property ladder.

The free-to-attend event will be held at the Lancashire County Cricket Club at Old Trafford in Manchester from 9am until 3pm and will provide free financial, legal and practical advice as well as offering a wide range of properties currently available.

The one-stop shop will also explain the use of homebuying schemes including Shared Ownership and the government-backed Help to Buy scheme – both which have become extremely popular ways to get onto the property ladder with lower upfront costs.

Speakers At FTB Home Show

Lynda Clark, editor of First Time Buyer Magazine comments: “This is a fantastic event which, over the years, has helped thousands of first time buyers to find out everything they need to know about getting onto the property ladder. With so much negativity about homeownership out there highlighting vast sums required for deposits and increasing house prices, first time buyers might be forgiven for thinking they don’t ever stand a chance of owning their own four walls.

The reality is much different and thanks to a range of schemes and buying options which can mean owning a home with as little as a five per cent deposit, buying a property is absolutely a possibility. By coming to speak to us at the show, first time buyers will be able to find out how they can buy their first home too.”

In association with Help to Buy North West, exhibitors on the day include Help to Buy North West, Barratt Manchester, Guinness Homes, PLS Solicitors, Plumlife, Which? Mortgage Advisors and RSC New Homes. A series of useful seminars will also be held throughout the event, offering further practical advice about buying a home.

Lynda Clark adds: “We have such a wide range of exhibitors lined up and ready to provide free and practical home buying advice to anyone who attends the event.
