Redrow Launches Second Community Fund In Hartford

Redrow is on the lookout for more local projects to support in the area.

FOLLOWING on from a successful community funding initiative in 2015 which saw Redrow support 11 local Hartford-based groups, the housebuilder is on the lookout for more local projects to support in the area.
Redrow has been building new homes in Hartford over a number of years and the award-winning homebuilder has three charming developments, Hartford Grange, Weaver Park and Hunters Chase.
Having previously provided more than £5,000 in financial support to local organisations in the first community funding initiative last year, Redrow is keen to extend the offer of help once again to groups in need of support in the surrounding area.
Jason Newton, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “Redrow is a familiar name in Hartford and we are proud of the links we have built with local community groups as our new homes developments have taken shape. It is a very special place to live with a very strong community spirit.

“We had a fantastic response the first time around and our funding benefitted 11 local groups, among them, Hartford Scouts who refurbished their scout hut, a new kit was provided to Hartford Football Club Girls under 9s and a sensory garden created at Greenbank School.
“We are looking forward to working with even more community groups, sports clubs and charities in Hartford, to find new ways to make a difference. With this in mind we’d like to invite the local community to suggest projects that they think we might be able to help with and we’ll endeavour to provide assistance where we can.”
Redrow wants to offer new support to as many local groups and organisation as possible and has set a £5,000 budget for the second round of community funding, in addition to substantial investment through its section 106 commitments with the local authority.
“Rather than give all the money to one organisation or project, we’d like to make a number of smaller grants to help as many people as possible,” Jason said. “We’re interested to hear what people need – and how it will make a difference.”
Redrow’s Hunters Chase development in Hartford is now coming to an end with only a handful of homes remaining. However, at Hartford Grange, there are a variety of properties available from two-bedroom bungalows to luxurious five-bedroom country homes. Nearby Weaver Park offers a variety of three and four-bedroom family homes.
Featuring Redrow’s Heritage Collection, the homes perfectly complement the area as they feature traditional Arts and Crafts-inspired exteriors and contemporary, bright, open-plan interiors, designed with families in mind. No less than eight expertly designed and fully furnished show homes are available to view across the developments, to help potential home buyers picture themselves living in Hartford.
